Cathedral of St. John the Divine is perched atop a hill in the heart of St. John's and truly is a sight to see. The cathedral was built in the mid 19th Century and is remarkable with its majestic twin towers, milky facade and tremendous arched doors and stained glass windows.The interior of the church still bears semblance to the original architecture and has a number of historic statues and murals. The church graveyard is also interesting and contains a number of 16th and 17th-century tombstones. History and architecture buffs shouldn't miss a visit to this ancient yet well-preserved church.
