Outdoor Activities

This long, sandy beach tends to be quieter and more secluded than the neighboring Horseshoe Bay Beach. While this makes for peaceful outings, it's important to note that the waters are subject to riptides like many South Shore beaches. There is no lifeguard on duty at Warwick Long Bay, so be sure to take precautions before swimming, particularly by checking for warning flags. Those that prefer to stay on land will enjoy watching sanderlings scuttle across the shore, and in the summer, birdwatchers will have plenty of opportunity to see iconic longtails. You can also follow cliff trails, bordered by Bermuda cedars and bay grape trees, for fun hiking excursions. Enjoy some fun in the sun at Warwick Long Bay!
