Visit the Gasoline Alley Museum and discover how the invention of the modern car changed family life. Then, walk through Heritage Town Square to see what city streets in the Prairies looked like in the '30s, '40s and '50s. Stop for lunch at the Selkirk Grille or grab a snack at the Railway Café. Then browse the goods - including vintage toys, antiques, old-fashioned candy and other collectibles - in the shops of the Haskayne Mercantile Block.

From October to May, visitors can also explore the Heritage Park Historical Village. With 180 exhibits and period-dressed employees, you'll get to spend a day in a time capsule exploring old railcars, a fur trading post and an aboriginal settlement. Before you go, swing by Park Lane Portrait Studio for a sepia-toned family portrait complete with historic costumes.
