Bahia de Perros, or the Bay of Dogs, separates the islands of Caya Coco and Caya Guillermo from the mainland of Cuba. The spectacular jade and azure waters of the bay are fronted by some of the island's most stunning beaches, running along the coast of Caya Coco. A narrow causeway bisects the bay, connecting the beaches and resorts of Caya Coco to the mainland of Cuba. A drive along this causeway makes for an unforgettable experience that is quite unlike any other, with the shimmering waters of the bay stretching out as far as the eye can see on either side of the road, dazzling under the sun like so many diamonds.
