Outdoor Activities

Not far from George Town, roughly 25 minutes by car, lies the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park. The tranquil attraction is spread across 65 acres of public land on which many of the plants native to Grand Cayman have been carefully cultivated and shaped into tropical gardens. Walk along the Woodland Trail and you'll see towering palm and mahogany trees, as well as the Blue Iguana Habitat situated at the halfway point. Meander through the Floral Colour Garden to see exquisite flowers in every shade imaginable. After, stop by the Cayman Heritage Garden to learn more about the historical agricultural significance of the Cayman Islands. A lovely afternoon activity, Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park proves there's more to Grand Cayman than the coast.
