Museums & Galleries

Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum is an excellent family museum located to the north of the city along highway 43. The museum has something for the entire family with interesting and interactive paleontological exhibits mainly sourced from the rich Pipestone creek region. They also host a number of educative programs like a night at the museum, field trips, Nat Geo feature films, and lecture series. Budding archaeologists can also volunteer at the fossil preparation lab to get hands-on experience. The exhibits are well maintained and curated and the museum itself is clean and neat.
