You'll want to get up bright and early on a Saturday, since the Historic Farmers' Market opens up at 7a. Among the many food stalls are craftsmen with their gorgeous wares of jewelry, tiny paintings of local scenes, hand-made shoes, carvings, baskets, sweaters and socks. Pick up freshly baked bread and a pie, a wild boar steak for supper, delicious herbs, and, depending on the season, willows or gladiola to grace the table. There is so much you can find here, and the local vibe is sure to fill you up with warmth.
