Kamloops Lake in British Columbia runs through the city of Kamloops, dividing it into two separate territories. Its waters cover a total of 39,050 square kilometers (15,080 square miles) with a maximum depth of 152 meters (499 feet). The river is flanked on both sides by mountainous terrain, featuring trails at varying heights, making its banks popular hiking spots. Home to a variety of marine fauna, Kamloops is also frequented by fishing enthusiasts when the recreational fishing season starts.
