With drag shows, comedy shows, indoor/outdoor sports and numerous other fun activities, the Pride London Festival works towards creating an inclusive environment for the LGBT+ community of Southwestern Ontario. Founded in 2003 by a non-profit organisation of the same name, this diverse-natured festival has come a long way in establishing itself as a safe environment for the members of the LGBT+ community. Over the years the organizers have enforced many rules and regulations in order to keep their audience comfortably engaged. Since its inception, this festival has evolved a great deal and has been dubbed as “the most colorful festival” of this region. The festival has amassed positive criticism for their progress. But the negative opinions aren’t lost either. Haters gonna hate, right?
