Practical Information

Perched on the southern end of the Baja Peninsula, suspended between the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez, Cabo San Lucas is the quintessential Mexican getaway. Days are reserved for thrilling water sports like scuba diving, banana boating, parasailing and kitesurfing, while by night, the sun-soaked scenery gives way to joyful abandon. Music spills from the doors of Cabo San Lucas' countless bars and nightclubs, mingled with the lively chatter of the crowds within. Conga lines form spontaneously and the party often tumbles onto the beach. Those who've had their fill of the fun, will often be seen lounging about in the sun the next day, relishing the view or exploring the natural rock arches that rise from the water like the remnants of a long lost cathedral. With its spectacular scenery and joyful airs, Cabo San Lucas and its many resorts are the ideal escape for honeymooners, golf enthusiasts, students on spring break and spa-goers alike. Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo are collectively known as Los Cabos.
