Opened in 1924 as a grand movie palace and the first of its kind in Mesa, the Nile Theater has seen a lot in its long history. From being a movie theater to a zealot church, a book-store and hardcore rock space before closing down in 2002, this place has had a varied history, yet remained rooted in the heart of the city's denizens. Though none of its grandeur remain, this rustic concert space is among the best in the state with its state-of-the-art acoustics. Opened in 2010, comprising of three venues, this all-age facility hosts a variety of shows and musicians with the main focus being rock in its different genres.
