Practical Information

The Université de Moncton is one of the country's foremost francophone educational institutions. The university was established in 1963 when Collège Saint-Joseph, Collège du Sacré-Cœur, and Collège Saint-Louis were merged into one. Besides the campus at Moncton, the university boasts two additional campuses at Edmundston and Shippagan, together encompassing a wide variety of faculties offering graduate, post-graduate, and undergraduate degrees in French. Over the years, the university and its students have played an important role in the awakening of the Arcadian identity in New Brunswick and its surrounds. Stop by campus to check out the local see or look out for events put on by the university.
