If you love history, especially military history, then Vancouver Island Military Museum will intrigue you. Though a small museum, it does justice with its exhibits and honors the men and women who served the Canadian armed forced. Divided into sections such as the War of 1812, Battle of the Atlantic, Boer War, World War I and World War II, and Afghanistan war, you will the memorabilia, artifacts, medals and mounts very interesting. Exhibits such as Life on the Home Front, Camp X and Canadian Rangers are compelling and give an insight into the heroic acts and lives of these military people.
