  3. Toscanini's

Set in a former 19th-century church where the renowned Harmony Hall Art Gallery occupies the upper level, Toscanini's is considered Jamaica's best Italian diner. Cosily lit with candles that cast a warm glow on its historic brick walls, its is owned and run by Italian brother-sister duo, Pierluigi and Mirella (Leila) Ricci since 1999. Using local ingredients, the traditional Italian menu showcases some Jamaican flair without taking away its authenticity. Check the blackboards to keep updated as they daily change their menu. Their attentive staff will come to your aide if you are confused at your selection. You can also choose to dine alfresco at the veranda near the garden. The restaurant has welcomed some celebrities and political heads in the past. Reservations are highly recommended.
