Performed in French with English supertitles, Pacific Opera Project presents a fully staged production of Georges Bizet's operatic masterpiece "Carmen". An alluring Spanish gypsy girl with a hot temper, Carmen seduces the innocent Don José, who gives up everything for her, leaving his former love, rebelling against his superiors and joining a gang of smugglers. But Carmen's not exactly the type to settle down. So when she tires of him and moves on to the bullfighter Escamillo, Don José is driven by betrayal and jealousy to exact violent revenge. Watch it all unfold at Hollywood's Ford Theatres.
