Museums & Galleries

The Prince George Railway and Forestry Museum, established in 1986, features relics from the city's once significant locomotive and logging industries. Alongside nine historic buildings and various exhibits, the museum has an impressive collection of railway coaches, plows, speeders, fire engines, and railcars that visitors are invited to climb aboard and explore. It also showcases large forestry equipment and houses a collection of chainsaws that dates back to 1938. The Prince George Railway and Forestry Museum offers guided and group tours, educational programs, and private events. Visitors should not miss the opportunity to tour the site on the park's Cottonwood Mini Rail.
