If you love nature, then Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park and Reserve might intrigue you. Spread across 607.03 hectares (1500 acres), it is tucked away in the Puntacana Resort & Club complex. Owned and run by the Puntacana Ecological Foundation, you will embark on a two-hour journey where you will walk through interpretive trails. Get to know the flora and fauna indigenous to this area. Some of the interesting facets of this reserve are the petting zoo, a sugarcane display, fruit tree garden and iguana enclosure. The forest contains 12 freshwater lagoons out of which only five are used for swimming. The park is free for the resort's guests and members. The foundation offers ecological excursions for outside visitors.
