Established in 1964, it was given its present name in 1972 in honor of Marjorie Dunlop, Regina Public Library's former chief librarian. Dunlop Art Gallery is a part of the Central Library and is aimed to promote and showcase contemporary visual arts in its diversity. The artworks are mostly Saskatchewan artists. The gallery also hosts educational, research and engaging tours to spread art awareness within the community.
