With the main aim of preserving and protecting traditional folk art, Newfoundland & Labrador Folk Festival is held every year in Bannerman Park since 1976. A celebration of community and culture is what best describes this festival. Spread out over three days, the festival hosts traditional cultural music along with interactive workshops where you can learn to dance, sing and improvise. Considered as one of the most inclusive and accessible festivals for seniors and disabled people, it also provides an excellent opportunity to embrace and accept the growing diversity.
