Get to know the life, culture and history of the early settlers who came to Terrace in the beginning of the 20th Century at the Heritage Park Museum. Terrace was always occupied by the First Nations, so when people started settling in this area, it was an undeveloped place. The museum comprises of eight log structures going back between 1910 to 1930, a blacksmith shop, beam wagon shed, storage shed, miniature schoolhouse and a heritage garden. The garden has plants from the pioneer homes which are were a reminder of the homes they left behind. These flowers, edible plants and more are now grown in local farms.
