Spread over 2999.859 acres (1214 hectares), the Lakelse Lake Wetlands Provincial Park is the place for those who wish to spend their day in the great outdoors. Located around the Lakelse Lake, the provincial park not only boasts of dense forests and stunning lake views but the park also allows patrons to catch a glimpse of salmon, grizzly bears and even moose during winter. Besides the animals, the vegetation and flora of this place is also quite stunning. Tall White Bog Orchids, Sitka Spruce and Devil’s Club are just some of the plants and trees that you can spot here. Activities like canoeing, fishing and hiking can also be undertaken here. Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing is also possible here.
