Designed by John Teague, who would later go on to become the Mayor of Victoria, Victoria City Hall was completed in 1890. Lauded for its Second-Empire style of architecture, the building was recognized as a National Historic Site of Canada in 1977, as well as a heritage site in 1979. Visit this important Centennial Square landmark to get a sense of the Victoria landscape.
