Just returned from a four night all inclusive stay at Divi Dutch Village. I purchased the all inclusive plan for myself and my son, we were visiting for his graduation. Before coming I contacted the hotel about setting up a surprise for him but was not able to get assistance on this from concierge or from the front desk, when I arrived I was told by front desk they needed 48 hours advanced notice hence the reason i contacted the hotel prior to arrival. The hotel was small but nice, grounds are kept nice! The one bedroom suite was nice, only problem I had was a few issues with the safe, it was not working properly. The suite came fully equipped with everything a small apartment would have which was nice. The food for the all inclusive plan was subpar! Even with the specialty restaurants I felt the resorts just recycle the same food. The food to me was not fresh. The most disappointing part of this stay was the interactions with the wait staff, I would say about 85 percent were not friendly and made it seem like we were inconveniencing them for doing their job! It's disheartening to hear wait staff go above and beyond for other vacationers sitting right next to us daily asking simple things like how is your food? Would you like some more to drink? We did not get these basic courtesies and many times when eating at the buffet we had to request more water and had to remove our own plates since staff never came back to get them! The last day at Tiki Bar and Grill my son asked for more OJ and the waitress walked away with an attitude! Im sorry but I paid my money like Everyone else and should not feel like im inconveniencing your staff..maybe it's because I had the wrong skin color because the White patrons did not have this problem..they were taken great care of! I will come back to Aruba but will try staying at another resort. After reading the reviews, I was so looking forward to that warm hospitality that bring people back here but my son and I did not experience that here during our stay!

Viva Did I Dutch in Aruba.

???????????? on our stay with the resort. Highly recommend it. Location is easy access to both sides of the island. The rooms are spacious. Friendly staff and easy check in and out. Easy access to the beachfront and transportation.

My husband and I stayed at one of the gorgeous condos at this resort. It was immaculate. Beautiful views, comfortable bed and everything we needed during our stay. We spent time swimming in the huge pool, relaxing and walking on the beach. White sand, endless beaches and beautiful sunsets were right there! Everything was beautifully maintained, even during these difficult times. Staff was friendly and worked hard to make tourists happy. The “return to the US Covid testing” was very easy to arrange since it was right on hotel property. The test was offered at the same price as all other places on the island. We had a great vacation and Divi Dutch Village will definitely be a repeat for us!

Check in was not at our hotel, but over at their sister golf resort. Not sure if this was because of Covid issues or not. Check in was quick, safe and easy once there. Our room was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. Great for view, but we are getting older, so would request lower next time. Room was fabulous, large, clean and had everything we could need. Beach was near, clean and had huts for shade. Pool area was very nice, but spa not working. Ocean water was warmer than pool. Tiki Bar for breakfast was good, but there are great restaurants near by. We love Aruba and would go back to this same Resort.

My wife and I stayed at Divi Dutch Village for one week. Divi Dutch is located away from the "High Rise" properties on Aruba and is therefore less crowded and busy which was perfect for us. The property is well maintained and clean. Staff is helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend Divi Dutch Village.
