Great stay..AGAIN!!!!

Stayed at the Hilton for the 5th time during Presidents week. As always, it was excellent. Stayed in the Curacao Tower since we booked late, we took the least expensive room. The construction was not an issue in the room. We were on the beach in front of the construction on one day and it was noisy but not enough to ruin the beautiful beach. I reserved palapas away from the construction for the remainder of the week. I like the idea of having a palapa in advance and not having to go and save some shade at 5am with towels. This was the case at the pool. Considering the price of the room, the charge for the palapa is not crazy. JMO Pros-Beach-beautiful-a little bit of seaweed but not terrible. -Beds were comfortable & room was cleaned daily and spotless -Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful -Breakfast-great choices but a little pricey-2 great spots across the street for 1/2 the price Salt & Pepper & Wilhelm?? -Plenty of places to eat within walking distance of hotel. Will definitely be back again
Good but not spectacular

Nice hotel overall but some cons too. Pros - Really good kids activities, nice resort and beach, thoughtfully stocked shop on the property for anything you might need, nice food on the resort. Thoughtful beach pail package for the kiddo as we arrived too. Beach smores and kids crafts were the highlights. Cons - Paying for a Palapa (beach umbrella and chairs) is ridiculous and doesn't create the experience of the Hilton brand. Surprise surprise, the free ones were all booked by 1230 that were away from the construction noise. The beds were microscopic. Buy a thinner nightstand and spring for the queen or king beds in the rooms, it was a real disappointment.
One Fantastic Hotel!

While mostly very positive, I did read some negative reveiws about the Aruba Hilton. Our experience was entirely positive. One review said Diamond status was not appreciated but Elton, one of the managers, greeted us and was great. He was helpful, acknowledged Diamond status helped with an available upgrade and did everything we asked. Another review noted long wait lines at breakfast. This was not our experience at all. Everyone at the hotel, including the breakfast staff were overwhelmingly friendly and efficient. We experienced no wait times and fantastic breakfast food. The beach was great as was the pool. Drinks and snacks were excellent. Housekeeping did a great job. We loved our visit and would highly recommend.
Go when the construction is over

Yes, you can hear the construction and it’s not a very large resort so it can be hard to escape it. The location was great with many very good restaurants near by. However, there are hardly any umbrellas by the pool and you have to pay $40-65 a day to ensure you get one. The rooms were nice and overall a good experience minus the construction.
