    Overall - a big disappointment

    I needed a place to stay for a few days while taking some meetings at the airport. Upon checking in, it is clear to see the ongoing construction which the staff said was going on for a year. They took a $100 hold on my credit card for incidentals, but I was NEVER allowed to put anything on the room charge. Not lunch, not dinner, not drinks- so why did they take the hold in the first place? I asked for a room with a pool view because the pool is beautiful. See photo of my pool view from the terrace complete with handmade wooden ladder. The design of the shower means that the water flows from the shower into the toilet area and then finally out the bathroom door. What a mess. The food was very average and the service was slow. My suggestion is to do your homework and find another place- at least until the never ending construction is completed.

    My sister and myself travel to Aruba every year for sister week and we wouldn't stay at any other place . The staff makes you feel like family And its not so over crowded that you can enjoy the pool and its within walking distance of the beauty of the beach and to explore the Island. Also they have the best bartender on the Island Nelson! We are looking forward to our yearly trip in may See you all then

    Stayed here for 6 nights. The staff is adorable and super helpful (like most locals on the island!). José from the beach club was incredible, always there to help us out and brighten our day, giving us valuable recommendations and a helping hand whenever we needed one. The hotel was under renovation and we were scared it would be a problem. It was not ideal (especially if you spend your day at the pool) but our room was totally soundproof and we spent most of our time exploring the island so it wasn’t that big of a deal. We had breakfast included with our stay and were very happy with it. The buffet was good all the essentials were there and the staff always adorable. However we had lunch at the hotel once and that was really disappointing. Food was bad, cold and everything looked prepared in advance and thrown onto the tables. Cute little hotel. You get what you pay for. If you plan on laying at the pool all day wait for the constructions to be over, and if you plan on eating mostly at the hotel look elsewhere. Overall great experience for what we planned our vacation to be about - exploring the island and spending time at the beach.

    My fiancé and I really enjoyed our first stay in Aruba. The Mill was a nice place with remodeled rooms and an impressive rain head shower. The pools were amazing. The hotel had a nice relaxing feel as it is not a big high-rise that is overly crowded like the resorts we passed by on Palm Beach. The location is excellent and provides a shuttle to the beach or a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and main shopping/dining area on Palm Beach. Employees were very friendly. When we arrived to our room, we were only provided with one towel and one bar of soap. We called the desk and requested these items and they said ok, but failed to deliver. The following days, the maids stocked towels and soaps, but not consistently. There should be standards to stocking of these types of items and the employees should be trained accordingly. We also noticed that our sheets were not changed during our stay which is not preferred, especially after 5 days. One morning as we were getting ready to leave for a snorkeling excursion at 830am, we went to the towel booth located by the pool and found it closed. We then went to the desk to request towels as we had turned our pool towels in the day before. The employee simply stated the hours of the towel service and made no effort to offer towels despite our explaining the urgent need. This was very frustrating. Overall, there needs to be more attention to detail and customer service and this resort will be a 4 star in no time! We will consider coming back.

    Scammers. Took my reservation money one month out for 4 nights, then when i got there they proceeded to try and put me into an awful hotel telling me that they were overbooked. are you serious? I had my reservation booked one month out and you only tell me that you're overbook when I arrive?? The general manager Carlos kept telling me that it would only be one night, but after i saw how bad the hotel they put me in was I called Hotels.com who proceeded to call the hotel to find out that they actually lied to me and wouldn't be able to have me there for any nights. Needless to say I proceeded to cancel my reservation and spend a lot more money finding a last minute resort. Stay away from these liars, they will take your money and leave you on the street or in a motel 6 type hotel after you spent resort money.
