Cannot fault this place for location, staff, value for money & general comfort. We spent five days here back in January and had an absolutely brilliant time. The hotel is smack on the beach and it's a blessing having it so close, and to top it off Carlisle Bay is only a short walk away. WIFI was super fast up by reception (a little slower in the rooms) and the little touches like a coffee machine (with decent ground coffee) were also much appreciated. There's also a lot to be said for the fact that we remembered all the names of the staff by the time we were gone (they couldn't have been more delightful!). Would definitely stay again!

Didn't stay at Savannah but went for the breakfast because I heard so much about it on one of the local radio station. The breakfast was OK but it wasn't all that. After eating I went to the bathroom, the bathroom smell very moldy, and roaches were all over the bathroom floor. I wouldn't go there again to eat anything.

So my husband and I returned to this hotel 30th Dec three weeks, we have been here multiple times. We were 4/5 hours late arriving, the plane went to Antigua, however this was a bonus as we made lots of friends on the plane!! The reception is rustic but don't be put off, the middle of the hotel going down to the beach is amazing! Someone said where is the swim up bar .... you cannot miss it by the pool outside drifters! The beach does have coral reef but walk 50 metres from the club deck mega sandy and walk straight into the sea, I am staggered by some peoples views!!!! the hotel is old but its really sweet, Barbados is very expensive, this hotel all inclusive is cheaper than bed and breakfast at the hilton which is a high rise hotel where you are just a number!! breakfast at the savannah is in rachels, there are cereals, cakes/croisants, yoghurts, fruit and hot dishes you would have to be very fussy not to fins something you like!! Lunch is in drifters, lots and lots of salad, fish and hot dishes, there is fish everyday. the salad bar was fab!! Cocktails are lovely, we had a fab time on New Years eve, on 02 Jan I collapsed, the hotel could not have been nicer / Kinder, I was dehydrated after new year!! Diner in Rachels was fab!! lovely the repeat guest diner was fab!! we adored our A la carte meals in Rachels, Chop Stix was also lovely, the staff worked so hard, Lucy, Linda, Keitha, Lynette, Edwin, Tyrone (Rest), Michael (Beach), Elsie (Chef), we were looked after Beautifully every day. the club upgrade is primarily about the lovely loungers on the deck! padded cushions, same rooms bit mini bar stocked every other day!! 200 ml Gin, Voddie, Whisky and Rum ... lots of soft drinks, lovely to come off the beach and have a drink on Balcony!! the hotel do trips to carlisle bay which is an amazing beach!! a bus stops outside the hotel $2 gets you anywhere! the race coarse is just across the road from hotel and is great fun!! Racing usually on a Saturday every 2/3 weeks!! You can walk in any direction on the beach safe as houses! there are lots of nice places to eat near by if you want a change Mama Mia's, Tapas, Lobster Alive, Champers etc. Embrace this beautiful hotel who can't do enough for you, amazing for a 3.5 star hotel. thank you everyone. See you November

The resort was dirty, The food was generally cold, There was no place to swim at the beach. There were no "non motorized water sports" There was no place to "boogie board" or Snorkle...Im still looking for the swim up bar. I WOULD NOT RETURN TO THIS RESORT IF THEY PAID ME On our arrival I requested a room on the ground floor...I was told the resort was full and there were no rooms available on the ground flloor...this was false. We were put in a very small room on the 6th floor which didnt even have an elevator. There are two elevators in the resort one did not work at all and the second one would only take you to the second level... The gift shop was seldom open.

We’re half way through our stay at this hotel and have been really impressed. Staying in a deluxe pool view room we have a very comfortable four poster bed in a spacious colonial style room and large balcony. We opted to go Club Level which has been good value for money with the mini bar, waited deck area and other little perks along the way. The staff have all been fantastic but what makes this hotel special is the small number of less than a hundred rooms and the community vibe that creates. The on site restaurants have been good and being AI you never go hungry or thirsty. It’s not 5 star but in many ways it comes very close and that is due to the hard work the management and staff put into the hotel and it’s facilities to punch above it’s weight in creating fantastic value for money.
