The location is amazing and actually opens into Disney downtown or California adventure! The staff is awesome going above and beyond all expectations. We had a balcony where we could watch the fireworks at night...spoiled us for any other hotel. The rooms are so clean and the bed/bedding is extremely comfortable. The beds are on the tall side so you can place your luggage under them. Mini fridge and turndown service. Loved it!

The service here is over the top. From the front desk to turn down service with chocolates on the pillow. The rooms are beautiful and modern. The beds were very comfortable. There is direct access to California Adventure and it's easy to go back to the hotel to rest. My biggest issue with this hotel is the price. I just can't justify paying the usual price which is so much higher than either the Disneyland Hotel or Paradise Pier. We got upgraded from Paradise Pier for this stay. We were very grateful for that and wish we could stay here more often.

I got to stay here for several nights for a work-related event, and really enjoyed it. I think this is perfect if you are staying for several days as a park hopper, because there is easy access to California Adventure as well as the main park. You don't have to use valet for this hotel, which is another nice perk of this location as well. The rooms are spotless, and there is lots to do in the main level, for adults and kids alike. I wish they would consider lowering the price on some of the rooms...While I totally get that its Disney, they could do more to make some things more reasonable.

This is a hotel with a great location. I was part of a convention and had the opportunity of staying at the Grand Californian for 5 nights. I had not seen or heard about this hotel and then after a quick online search I realized how expensive this hotel usually is, and was wondering why. The hotel is like a big cabin. I believe the hotel has seen better years, but it is overall a very nice property. Service is of course amazing, but sometimes fake. The room is nice, not very nice. I was surprised I couldn't access YouTube on the TV, which I was expecting for the price of the room. Then, when I went to Disneyland is when I understood why the hotel is so expensive: it is located about 10 minutes walking from both parks and it is located in Downtown Disney. If you are willing to pay the price, I definitely recommend this property!

Very nice hotel, similar to Wilderness Lodge in WDW. The place has direct access to one Disney Park and close-to-direct access to the other. Nice pool, nice rooms, but compared to what we've seen at WDW Florida's Grand Floridian and other high-end Disney resorts there, we found the place to be much too expensive, especially when much cheaper competition is only right across the street, unlike WDW Florida's competition, which is far away from the parks there.
