Yes, the hotel is expensive, but it is a wonderful place to stay! Clean rooms and the location can't be beat! We were able to wander over to downtown Disney and eat which was very convenient! Also the Magic Morning perk makes the cost a little easier to stomach! No complaints from me! We'll definitely be back!

Second time visiting this property in the last three years. The hotel is very clean and very well-kept. Magic morning was an excellent perk getting into the park I had of the crowds. You cannot beat the convenience of being able to walk back to the room to rest or grab a snack. Overall even though this property was pricey it is very nice. We had an upgraded room with a bed that converted from a couch. The room also had a small mini fridge and a coffee maker. Double sinks in the room made getting ready easier with 4 people in the room. Elevators worked great never had to wait very long. Only down side was the parking. It is valet only or you have to walk quite a distance. Additionally having to pay for valet parking was not very good.

We stayed there for 4 nights for my wife's 50th Birthday using DVC points for the Club Level. The room was nice and spacious. Nice view of the fireworks and it was clean. We never got turn down service at night. My daughter did ask them not to come do it the last night, but the other 3 we were not in the room and it never occurred. The Cast Member's in The Veranda were VERY nice and helpful. Some families w/ smaller children let their children run around like it was a playground and scream, which was a little annoying. Understand they are children and it's ok for them to be excited, but not again and again. The location of the hotel it great with an entrance to California Adventure. They have laundry service and also self serve laundry. We used the self serve and it was clean and the dryers were fast (30 min per load). You use credit cards so quarters aren't needed. We'd stay there again for the location. The beds are VERY comfortable and we rested and slept wonderfully. My family likes this the best of the 3 Disney Hotels for Disneyland.

I really hesitated to book this hotel due to the cost. We have stayed at nearby hotels many times for half the price. But I have to say it was well worth it. The convenience of having its own entrance to California adventure and downtown Disney cannot be overstated. It was so nice to come back to the room and drop of packages or grab a jacket before changing parks or going to dinner. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas and had a huge tree and gingerbread house. There was also a temporary little snack and beverage station with holiday treats and beverages. The staff was friendly and efficient. A Christmas choir sang a couple of times each evening in front of the gingerbread house. There are a number of restaurants as well as a lobby lounge and pool lounge. There is also a Disney store in the lobby. The lounges and the counter service restaurant have plenty of food options and don’t require a reservation. The room was not anything super luxurious but it was nice and clean and perfect for our needs. We were just around the corner from the elevator but we did not hear it during the night at all. We had a view of the monorail which was very quiet. I am not sure whether some of the rooms that overlook the California adventure park or downtown Disney would be as quiet. I will definitely stay here again. We loved it!!

Necklace stolen from room by cleaners

The cleaning staff stole my daughter’s necklace from the nightstand in the room. We have been dedicated visitors to this hotel for years, but this is not the first time their “Lost and Found” service has “failed to locate” an item left in the room. This necklace had great value to my daughter and after pretending to try to help us, the Claims dept., Robbie and her manager, just refused to call me back, eventually saying if their cleaning crew steals my items from the room, they are not responsible. It’s hard to call a hotel 5 star if your belongings are not safe in the room, and the hotel’s customer service is terrible.
