Adele at the front desk was wonderful! She went above and beyond when one person in our group became ill. Adele made sure we had everything we needed/requested, and she was so warm and friendly. Superior customer service. Thank you very much, Adele.

The check in was absolutely amazing. Gladys at the front desk was impeccably wonderful! She answered all my questions and anticipated the things I should have known! Give her a raise! I would recommend her and the Holiday Inn in Waikiki! Please visit soon.

The room was perfect condition and had amazing ocean view! Glalys helped us out so kindly. They also kept our lauggage safely, even dough we check-out. Holiday inn express is so valuable hotel in Hawaii. Glalys made our vacation terrific :) Thank you Glalys mahalo!

This was an experience to remember! We had an emergency landing in Sydney, trying to get home to Atlanta. We were forced to jump on another airline and unexpectedly ended up in Honolulu for 36 hours. I booked through the app and arrived to the hotel early. We walked up to the counter and immediately we were greeted by GLADYS- wow what a welcome it was! Given we were all worn out and stressed from the long flight, she was more than welcoming. She recognized my Silver status with IHG, upgraded us to a higher floor, gave us a late checkout and a surprise welcome amenity. When I travel, often you get the basic welcome but not with GLADYS. Felt like we knew each other for forever. Upon departure, she noticed I was limping and got me ice packs for the road before a long flight back to Atlanta! Whenever my travels bring me back, I will defiantly stay here again. I hope Gladys gets recognized for her all star service and just being a great person.

This is a really great hotel for a relatively (for Hawaii) cheap stay, with a lot to offer. The location is a 15 minute walk from Waikiki beach, which is just fine, and offers table football, shuffleboard, mini golf as well as a games room for the kids. The only drawback is the parking - for such a big hotel, with 44 floors, the garage is completely inadequate and after an exhausting 24 hours of travel, having to drive round and round the block trying to find a parking spot at midnight is… more than frustrating. But the breakfast is good, the staff polite and very helpful and we took a suite for 2 adults and 2 kids and it was a good size, located in a corner of the building looking at the ocean. The only reason to drop a point was the parking.
