Horrible Hotel and Customer Service...Do Not Stay Here!!!

Let me start by saying that I have been in the top tier of the IHG program since 1998,,,20 years. So I have stayed at ALOT of Holiday Inn Express' over the years. I have never had such a TINY, crappy room as this. Nor have I ever experienced such poor customer service as I did from the manager, Tiana. As much as I appreciate IHG, this hotel is a HUGE letdown. Please do not stay here. It will be an enormous letdown. Like me, you will regret it.

Had a lovely week, the resort was very clean and had everything you could need. Room was spacious, clean and great views from our balcony. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Lovely walk along the beach to main shops. Definitely would come back.

    Just ok....

We are Elite members who have stayed in Waikiki before using points. Unfortunately, the property we used to stay at is no longer under IHG so this Holiday Inn location was available for our stay. Our stay was "worth" 35,000 points so I was definitely expecting to receive our points worth. Let me start off with the positives: 1. Staff is OUTSTANDING! From the moment we pulled up confused about where "parking/valet or no valet" was a gentleman named Kenneth walked up to our car and assisted us! He helped us unload our bags, explained parking and the check-in process to us. He also let us know our bags would be delivered to our room after we checked in! 2. Check-in for Elite members has it's own line, it was super easy and quick! I witnessed the front desk staff dealing with some difficult customers in front of me, and again staff was extremely patient and professional. 3. The hotel itself is very nice, great decor and relaxing! Good location to walk to stuff as well! 4. Hello AC AND FANS in the room! I loved that and the beds were super comfortable. Negatives: 1. THE ROOM...oh my god I thought we were in the wrong place. We are literally on top of the room next to us and a utility closet. When we walked in the room, I had to laugh. We had 3 suitcases and 3 carry-ons..not to include our personal bags. How we fit into the room is beyond me. It is so tiny the beds almost touch.. I could use the toilet and wash my feet in the tub at the same time. 2. Parking was $33. We had just stayed at a Wyndham resort near the marina. Valet parking was $28. And they cannot assure you parking later in the evening if you move your vehicle. But if you find parking elsewhere they will refund the $33. Can I have that back to pay for my uber cost please. 3. Breakfast was just ok. Standard Holiday Inn food but I would have enjoyed seeing something from Hawaii on the menu. I did appreciate the Guava yogurt and Passion Orange juice. Staff and mild comfort would bring me back to this hotel. The place was spotless. We had originally booked 2 nights but went down to one instead. I'm grateful for that because we need rest and some room to back our staff before we head home. Unfortunately because the rooms are on top of each other and we were near the utility closet, the loud slamming of doors woke us up at 6am and now we are just exhausted. It is worth a nights stay if it's only just a couple or someone who just needs a quick spot to lay down at (in Waikiki you should be out and about anyways). Thank you to the staff at the Holiday Inn. You made this stay great!

    The nicest staff!

I am here for business. Parking is limited and the lot across the street is full tonight also. The front desk found a place for me to park. They are really nice and helpful. My room is lovely and has a beautiful view of mountains and the ocean. This hotel is very close to the beach and nightlife but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet.

Superb choice for off beach Waikiki

Stayed 7 nights in 38th floor partial ocean view room with 2 queen beds. Beds very comfortable. Housekeeping very good. Complimentary breakfast outstanding. Hotel staff at front desk and breakfast area very courteous and efficient. Only significant negative is on site parking capacity. On site deck fills by 7 pm some days. Next option is public parking a block away which $10 cheaper and well maintained and secured.
