I stayed here in March 2024 for two weeks and can only recommend this hotel. The rooms were very clean and large enough for a langer stay. The hotel staff was extremly friendly and helpful. Also, the breakfast was very good with a wide variety of food and drinks to choose from. Furthermore, the location was ideal with only 5 min. to walk to Waikiki Beach. The only negative aspect was that the receptionist who did the check-in wanted to charge the resort fee again that had already been paid. Additionally, one thing that could be improved by rebuilding was the breakfast area that was subjected to pidgeons every morning that attacked the tables.

Our stay was okay, nothing extraordinary. The breakfast was made of breakfast sandwiches on some days which were not fresh or yummy. After 2 days, we did not eat the complimentary breakfast and opted to pay and have better food. The best part was the service that the porters gave us - they were very helpful, quick and friendly.

This was our first trip to Hawaii & finding a hotel was taking a chance - not actually knowing if it lived up to expectations. The Hyatt Place did not disappoint- location was ideal - walking distance of the beach & local restaurants, yet it wasn’t in the heart of the high end area. The rooms were clean & daily service was efficient. Other conveniences included daily supply of beach chairs & towels and on-site complimentary breakfast. The best value of this accommodation was the staff - EVERYONE was super helpful and out-of-their way friendly. We felt like we were hanging out with family when we ended our day with a nightcap at the lounge. The only issues I had: The pool is small and needs upgrading; the extra cost of a “beach view” room was not worth it (so many high rises we could barely see the beach); breakfast choices were limited and the same every day.

Overall great place to stay. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Great centralized location for the places that we needed to go to.
