We booked a king junior suite with an ocean view side which was facing the east, and the beach below. The room was nice and clean. Ordered room service a few times for breakfast, and courteous. Not cheap, but you're in Hawaii you should expect to spend a few dollars. One thing I really appreciated with the room was the size of the bathroom, shower and vanity area to get ready. Pool was great, the bars and restaurants on site were friendly and great food. Again, expect to spend some money. Next time I would probably pay for the valet service. Not too much more and saves you a lot of time walking through the parking lot since its usually full.

The location is amazing! We had a phenomenal time at Turtle Bay Resort. There are lots of things to do right around the resort, but also take time to drive around the island. The dining at the resort is quite expensive. If you go to the beach bar and dine there, it is more reasonable. The food trucks aren't far and have great options, also a little market with fresh fruit and grilled meats for a quick bite in the morning, the grocer isn't far up the road and we bought boiled eggs and yogurts, snacks, drinks to have in our room. The only thing is if there are wedding parties on the water side (back of hotel), it can be loud from the noise. We stayed for 10 nights and we loved it all. Highly recommended! Quiet and gorgeous views!

My hubby and I prefer to rent homes/condos when we travel, but we booked Turtle Bay in March for a wedding. We thought the accommodations were nice, but not quite worth the price. The resort could use an upgrade. Our room was clean and had a nice view of the beach. We also liked that there are two pools - one for families and one is adults-only. The grounds are pretty and we enjoyed watching surfers from the pool area. I would have liked if they had a better running path, although, the fitness room is awesome. During our stay, it poured almost the entire time, so we spent much of our time with friends in the hot tub. It was also just as the COVID crisis was becoming a problem, so the hotel was beginning to shut down. Given these factors, we know we didn’t enjoy our stay as much as we could have. As for the wedding, it was a beautiful ceremony and reception. All in all, we wouldn’t stay here again.

This was one of the best vacations we have ever taken! Turtle bay is absolutely wonderful!! It is beautiful, everyone is nice and there are lots of activities to do. The room was great, we were on the vista floor, the breakfast was wonderful, we looked forward to it every morning. So glad they had lots of almond milk!

We stayed at Turtle Bay on our honeymoon briefly and were very disappointed. The reviews weren't great but we thought we would give it a shot regardless. Our room smelled quite old and musty to the point where it made my stomach upset so we tried a different one-- same problem. The staff were helpful but at the end of this day this hotel is past its prime, I'd suggest a vacation rental to check out the North Shore. If you're expecting a beautiful well maintained resort, this isn't it.
