    Nice place, convenient to Strip

    I stayed here 5 nights on business. It took a long time to check in. This seemed to be due to the fact that it is a Grand Vacation resort. I travel most weeks and am accustomed to a quicker check-in. My room was a bit dated, but was acceptable. Free parking in the parking deck was great. The location was very convenient to the Strip and Miracle Mile Shops. I would stay here again.

    I don't have anything really bad to say about this place because everything was clean and they did take extra COVID precautions. Downside of this hotel is that it shares a parking garage with the Miracle Mile Shops. Alot of ppl smoking weed in the parking garage and there was a fight in the garage one night with a person and security. Not sure what happened. If you have a car, make sure not to leave items visible. The room itself was clean but no housekeeping during the stay because of covid. We had a studio room which is like any other hotel room with the exception of having a mini kitchenette with a microwave that has multi uses. Mini fridge and a coffee maker that did not look clean. Pool was okay, nothing fancy. Drinks VERY expensive at the pool for such a small portion. With so many options to stay in Vegas, I would probably go with a hotel that has a casino connected. Planet Hollywood is next door but totally closed down.

    Here now, 5th time staying and most definitely the most disappointed we have been at Elara. 17 of us staying at Elara this trip. Yes we understand COVID has changed things a bit. Check in process was good and bad. The studio rooms we booked were ready by 2 or so. However the 4br premium wasn’t. So we were told just had to inspect the room and it would be ready in about 30 minutes. Waited an hour and checked again, same excuse. About 30 minutes later we finally got access to the room. Rooms were just as expected so no complaints on those. However the pool area is pretty much not ready, Hilton please honest and upfront about the pool. Hot tubs both were told broken, not true as we have found out. Pool restaurant is a joke. This is not what I would say is open, it’s not the same restaurant as we expected. Cold sandwiches and chips are not a restaurant Hilton. If you are going to false advertise then let customers bring food in or use DoorDash. And wow is that pool what freezing, umm you know they could use heaters. Hopefully the next couple days will get better. As Hilton Elite and Diamond members we expected more. We will we stay at Elara again, maybe but it will not be anytime soon

    I have stayed at the Elara before and it was really nice. If you can I suggest going for at least a 1 bedroom. It’s very clean and the staff has always been very friendly. Anytime I have ever had an issue they have resolved it. The location is great. It’s connected to miracle mile so it’s very walkable everywhere. I also love that the property is non gaming so you have a chance to breath a little bit in the spacious clean lobby after visiting the smokey casinos. Security always at the elevators which is really nice.

    Went to Vegas for a getaway and had the best time. I love the Hilton brand!! The Elara is a good hotel. The staff at the Elara were so nice and friendly. They were wonderful and very accommodating. I arrived early and was able to check right into my studio room. My room was clean. Not one problem the entire time I was there. Even though there is no housekeeping due to the pandemic, they will pick up your towels and trash and replace with fresh towels as needed. I had the perfect view of the city from the 38th floor. The pool area is nice. There was no crowd when I was hanging pool side. Being in the water was refreshing with the 100 plus degree days. They do require you to wear your mask at the pool but that is to be expected especially with people coming from all over and we are in a pandemic. It was nice having the Miracle Mile shops connected to the hotel because I was able to shop and eat and not have to go far at all. Overall, the Elara was perfect to me and I will definitely return again!!
