    I'm a healthcare worker, Frontline team, 1st Responder @ NY-PRESBERTERIAN Hospital I'm so grateful for the ROOSEVELT HOTEL & it's staff for the hospitality and kindness shown to healthcare workers while staying there during this difficult time affecting everyone everywhere. They are heros as well, while staff is limited I could barely tell. We're not on vacation, it's a place to stay so not to risk the health of family and people you care about. This opportunity has eliminated more stress than words can say!! Dennis and Francois are SUPERLATIVE they TRULY are in every aspect GENUINE CUSTOMER SERVICE PROS!! They have shown me that true Customer Service isn't extinct yet!! My room is wonderful cozy like a hug. This is NY nothing is perfect but for me the ROOSEVELT is!!

    I sadly lost my phone after i left otherwise pictures could tell the story, Room is the size of my dressing room, bathroom was the size a toilet room alone, Wires and Cable coming through the carpet, Carpet torn, Wallpaper damaged, Small Desk and wardrobe and TV hanging on flimsy wall plate, Downstairs over priced, Hookers at the bar, nothing special at all Only good think near the Rockerfella and stuff if your sight seeing but terrible hotel for the price.

    The hotel overall is beautiful but the service of the staff was horrible! Never been treated so poorly at such a highly rated hotel. & the bathroom had old dry blood on the toilet & toilet paper roll!

    This was a five day trip for myself, my son and my 8 year old grand daughter. The entrance and welcome to the hotel was fantastic. The rooms were spacious and clean. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and made my grand daughter feel especially welcome. We were made aware of the resort fee before we arrived and this did not bother us. On the day we left everything was shutting down due to COVID-19, however the hotel staff remained helpful and calm. We are definitely planning to re visit as soon as able.

    We booked a 5 night stay in New York, staying at The Roosevelt Hotel December 2018. The hotel was of average standard Overall. The room we stayed in was quite small and not the most sound proof. Relatively clean inside. No other issues with the room. We were looking for somewhere relatively cheap and basic to stay, which is what I would have said this hotel was. But..... On our penultimate day at the hotel we happened to check our mobile banking app to find that the hotel had in fact taken £806.47 (just over $1000) from our credit card. This left us with a lot of stress and approximately $1 in our bank account. I spoke to the reception manager immediately who said that they would look in to this and sort it with the finance department. After informing the manager that we had just over $1 in our account he proceeded to tell us to go out and enjoy our excursions for the day and he would sort it on our return towards the end of the day.... Wonderful. Later that evening we were told that it was die to an IT glitch and that we would not get this back until we were due to return home. I did wonder if this was intentional but I will never know for certain. After further complaing to the reception manager, it was agreed that we would not have to pay the resort tax. I would have scored our stay a 3 out of 5 without the issue. However, very little effort to amend this error immediately. Would not recommend staying here.
