This hotel is located at the north end of times square. Perfect for theaters and restaurants. 46 stories high and every floor is great. We have used this location for many years and everytime we are pleased. Contributing to our happiness this year, were some noteworthy staff members: James at check in; Milton at the concierge desk; Jason, Kim, Philip, and Anthony - the great bar team; and Travis in the dining room. All made our stay enjoyable. Special mention also to Chris for his attention to our well-being. We highly recommend this location for your best stay in Manhattan. Marva??and Bruce ??Topping

Celebrating a birthday so chose TGI’s .... good choice! The steak was amazing as was the accompaniments. A wee bit pricey but couldn’t fault the food and the service. Waited 20 minutes to receive the food from ordering it which I thought was good considering how packed it was ????

As you can see from the photos, pieces of paint were falling from the ceiling and the smell in the room was very nasty. We stayed in this hotel for eight days and had daily problems with hot water. We hardly managed to shower because the water was always cold. At the elevators it was always crowded and you had to wait for good minutes to get to the room or to leave the hotel. One day we had to go down 28 floors on the fire staires because the elevators were blocked and we waited more than 15 minutes. We asked for our room to be changed, but we received one just like the first room. In this hotel there is no refrigerator in the room which is inadmissible for a 4 star hotel. The two beds in the room were so small that the children could hardly sleep. The Internet was pretty hard and was disconnected after a few minutes. In short it is a hotel too expensive for the services it offers.

Hot mess from start to finish!

Our whole reason for going to NYC was for my husbands birthday. I called the hotel two days prior to arrival to arrange an amenity to be left in the room for his birthday. I was sent a credit card authorization form and a guest amenity form. I filled those out and faxed them to the number I was given. I called to make sure it was received which the fax never was so I emailed them to the person I spoke to on the phone and she forwarded to the food and beverage manager. The next day we’re driving to the airport and my husband receives a phone call from the hotel asking to speak with me. He already knows something is up now because I had to try and explain what I wanted the surprise to be over the phone. They told me they never got the form and I was transferred to someone in food and beverage. They also told me the my never got the fax or email and I told them the number on the amenity form I wanted which was a six pack of beer and chips and dip. Well apparently the form they had was different than mine because the choices for that number was different. I kept telling her what I wanted and she kept asking if I wanted a birthday cake. I was getting so frustrated I was ready to cancel everything and that’s when they told me they’d handle it. The next day we’re checking in and we go to dinner and realize our door doesn’t lock behind us. We go downstairs tell the front desk they apologize and call security to fix it right then. We leave for dinner and come back 2 hours later to find it had not been fixed. We’re infuriated now because our things had been unlocked for 2 hours. We get a hold of the manager who apologized and said she can transfer us to another room. So I pack everything up and during this time security comes and fixes the door in less than a minute. Why wasn’t this done two hours prior? By that time the manager shows up and asks if we want to stay in the room since it’s fixed now. Um NO I’ve already packed everything up. So we take the elevator to the different room only to find that room ALREADY HAD PEOPLE IN IT. By this time I’m just thinking all of it is a joke so manager comes back up there and sends us to another room with a “better view” we now go to the third room which doesn’t have a better view but whatever we were tired of moving. While we were in our first room we went to get ice and the machine didn’t work. I called the front desk and asked if they could bring some up and I was told to go down to another floor to get ice. Really?! I shouldn’t have to do that. This hotel has poor customer service and is not the luxury you expect when staying in Times Square. I will never be back to this hotel and will never recommend it to anyone.

Great Location. Don’t stay high up, Elevator Service Terrible

Booked this hotel as my meetings were directly across the street. The room was nice and clean and well appointed. I was very late for all my meetings because of the elevators, you couldn’t get on an elevator to go down. I think 2 of the four high rise elevators were out of commission. Tip, take the service elevators behind the employees only door, elevators were immediately available. Don’t dine there, food is just ok but the service staff are extremely unprofessional and cranky. So many nicer places to stay. Chris addressed my concerns by giving me a free late checkout, which was really appreciated, but not enough to make me go back. Location Awesome.
