And left not disappointed after 7 nights stay. Yes, the place is somehow outdated, but the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was kept clean and bathroom resupplied daily. Shower water was hot, a/c run cold, ice machine on the floor worked too. Wifi worked in our room, large flat screen TV with satellite feed had about 50 channels from US, Canada, France, Germany and latino country. Yes, continental breakfast was on a very modest side, but again, the staff was pleasant. Outdoor pool, bar and beach service was good with the security guys as well. The beach has also a grassy and shady parts, what is a nice combination. Parking lot is part of the complex. 5 minutes walk to town, with all the restaurants, bars, fruit market, supermarkets and other stores. If that is what you need for your stay, then this place is for you.

This place is unclean, unsafe and NOT a place to bring kids or enjoy a holiday. The patio doors don't lock, the sink oozes brown water onto the floor, the continental breakfast is a joke. It is slated for demolition at the end of the season so no maintenance is happening at all, oh and no towels either. You cannot get water or coffee.
Worst Hotel Ever

The only staff that had manners were the housekeeping and security. There were never any beach towels even at 7:30 am and at 8 pm. The AC did not work properly in one of our rooms. The keys worked sporadically. We had to leave and pay for another place to stay. DO NOT STAY HERE. Do not waste your money. This place takes your money and does not give you what they advertise.

The receptionist were very rude. Not helpful at all. I askes for some water in the reception and they could not offer. I had to walk outsode the hotel to get some... Very expensive. Continental breakfast was a joke... The room was awful. The offer coffee inside the room was opened and carefully closed... The decoration os the same since the 80s. The safe locking device of the door was not working. The same for the bathroom window. The only food thing about the hotel was the beach in front of it... Whats out when the offer a room with ocean view... it is normally a room that the view is covered by trees and of course the ocean view is not possible... Thats all. Tey to avoid!!!

This is the worst hotel stay we have ever had. A Kingston friend found us the availability and we unfortunately trusted that they knew something about the facility. Check-in was fine, but when we started on our way to the room we realized how rundown and dated the rest of the hotel was. The room was freezing and we had a hard time getting it to warm up. We realized later it was so cold because if you didn’t run the a/c, the whole room was terribly humid to the point where water was dripping from the ceiling and the tile floor stayed dangerously slick. We paid extra for a balcony, which faced the beach, but since the beach is public it was populated by vagrants, homeless, and the guy (Carl) that tried to sell my husband drugs when we stepped out onto the balcony. We were on the first floor, which I regretted after seeing that. Security was not great - doors that were supposed to be only key card accessible were unlocked and always open. There was a rusted out “safe” in the closet, which after the amount we spent on the room I would have thought would be included, but you had to pay the front desk to rent a lock, which obviously they would also have access to, so what’s the point? The front desk staff was generally friendly but very unhelpful and apathetic. We asked for suggestions on food delivery options and they had none. After my husband suggested a pizza place we found online they said they thought they did deliver (turns out there were lots of places that deliver). Maybe that is their way of encouraging people to eat at their very limited restaurant? The pool was small, but the public beach next to the pool was so crowded (and a little scary) that it was often the only option. The best part was on the first night when we started hearing pounding club type music around 6 pm. It gradually grew louder and louder until our room was shaking. We went to investigate and realized that there was a nightclub next to the hotel. We called the front desk and they said they had no control over it, couldn’t switch our rooms and when we asked for earplugs or anything, they said they had nothing. The front desk attendant said they knew the club would be operating but had no comment when we asked why they wouldn’t warn customers. We asked to speak to a manager and they just said there was no manager there. The music continued until 2 am both nights we were there. Luckily our two children finally fell asleep, but we weren’t so lucky. They advertise a continental breakfast. It was gross. It’s not actually continental since they don’t leave anything out. They bring you a little tray with either corn flakes or Frosted Flakes, a slice of bread, a tiny piece of pound cake clearly from a tin, a slice of watermelon, a small amount of jelly, and some nasty juice. Bottom line, we paid more for our stay than for almost any other hotel we have stayed at. And for that we got to feel scared of being robbed or worse, be unable to sleep, feel cheated, and get to stay in a rundown motel. We were disappointed that the staff seemed unconcerned with any of the issues we had. No one ever offered any help. No management ever approached us. This is definitely a tourist trap - they have your money so they don’t care about anything else. Never again. We warned our friend who found us the hotel to never recommend it again. We sincerely hope this helps others know to avoid it.
