    Hotel was clean. Offered shuttle service (For a fairly minimal cost) from Disney park and back. I will say the walk from shuttle to entrance of Disney is the furthest of all shuttle buses! That said, I seem to always have a good experience at the Garden Inn Hotel's.

    Our stay was great. Very friendly staff welcomed us and accommodated an early check in for us. The breakfast was great every day and our waiter Wences was the best. Very well run property and they offer military rates which is great.

    This hotel is one of the best I have been to. The location is very convenient because is close to stores and restaurant. The amenities are varied and the appearance is appealing. The customer service is also very good.

    Night manager beyond rude

    I had a room booked for the night of July 4th that was confirmed through Expedia. I arrived late at night after being at the Disney Parks all night. The manager Jim McGarrh told us that he sold our room and that they had called to see if we were still coming, which they did not. He did not offer too look elsewhere for us or offer us a rate at the same price.. His tone and manner was condescending and mocking. To top it off when I called Expedia to get my money back, they called the hotel to see what the issue was and Jim informed them that he had made a mistake and our room was available. He didn't even bother to ask me my confirmation number or anything while I was there. Due to his attitude I just requested my money back and called Hilton Anaheim to see their availability. To top things off, Hilton had great customer service and told us that there was availability at the Garden Inns!!!!! So for whatever reason Jim was a complete unprofessional. The hotel has not offered to comp us or in any way do anything about our horrible experience with their manager who has served for 14 years. I would think after 14 years he would better know how to provide better customer service. Do not go to this hotel or else you will be treated like nothing especially if you are a person of color.

    From the minute we checked in to the final day, we were extremely impressed with the friendliness of the staff. We were in Anaheim as part of a dance competition and had a block of rooms. The staff arranged a private conference room for our team for a private breakfast and meetings without a request. There were welcome signs and friendly faces at every turn. While the staff was friendly and welcoming, the facility itself could use some updating. The tiny fitness room is also the only access to the pool, so there were always swamp monster footprints through the tiny little room (more of a hallway, really). It contained 2 treadmills, an elliptical machine, and a single bench with a rack of dumbells with roughly 2 feet of space to walk behind the equipment to the pool. The rooms were clean but small. The refrigerator was nice to have, but the shelves were broken so everything fell out when we opened the door. The pool is outdoors with a great deck and furniture and was very relaxing after long days. However...the bottom of the pool is so rough that every single kid who spent time in it came out with bleeding toes. The great customer service really made the poor architecture easy to overlook.
