The resort is nice. Rooms were clean and the pool area was very nice. However, they include "spa" in their name. The spa is run by a third party. The spa recommended we pre-book our treatments and said it was the hotel's policy that we had to prepay. Our flight from Canada was cancelled and we were a day late in arriving. We missed our appointments and we were told we would not be refunded our money. The spa management were quite rude to us and implied several times that by asking for a refund we did not want their staff to get paid. We never said that. All we asked was if the appointments could get rescheduled. The response was that we could reschedule but would have to pay again. If the spa wanted to pay their staff and provide us a partial refund we would have been find with that. The spa management tried to deflect blame on the hotel several times and that is when we found out the hotel has nothing to do with the spa. Although the spa recommended we pre-book our treatments, we noted may times during our week stay that their was no one in the spa. After many emails to the hotel and the spa management company we finally received a 30% refund 2 weeks after our stay.

nice resort close to shopping, restaurants and places to see. spacious rooms with pool facing rooms . walking distance to restaurants, shopping and bars. no restaurant on site but a variety of eating places steps away. microwaves, moni firg and coffee maker in all rooms .lovely outdoor propane firepits surounded by comfy chairs to enjoy a glass of wine or beverage in the evenings on the property. mini mart with beverages , snacks and a few microwave meal options to purchase . free starbucks coffee and tea .

Had a great stay here. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom, nice pool and hot tub, gas fire “pits”, and friendly staff in a great location walking distance to many things. The complimentary bike rentals were also a nice touch we used to explore the surrounding areas.

My husband and I really enjoyed our visit here. We were on the third floor with a balcony view of the pool and mountains. The balcony view is beautiful and peaceful. They have some fire tables at night, which is a nice feature. All of the front desk staff were super kind. We were able to check in early. The location is awesome. It is so close to everything. Convenient parking is available with no charge. The room is a nice size, and the beds were comfy. The negatives are they have only every three day maid service. Not a huge deal, but trash cans are small. We bought some trash bags to empty our trash to the main containers. Two towels for three days are not enough. We were able to grab some extra when we saw the maid with her cart. The hotel is a little older, so no exhaust fans and the bathroom can get steamy. All in all, I would so stay here again. It is a pretty hotel with a good location and very nice staff.

Palm Mountain Resort, Palm Springs, California is a MISERABLE dump! Someone let Athena out and she “Terrorized” the people next to us ??. They took no responsibility and I left early because I wasn’t subjecting Athena to being labeled. Athena has traveled the country for 7 years, the last 2 - ALOT! Zero problems with her. She literally sleeps, never barks, and waits for me to get back. The manager was obnoxious and dramatic. 1/2 star bc of location. ??????????
