This hotel is big with lots of people. I got to the hotel almost 6 PM and there was a line all the way outside. I waited 20 mins to check in and to only find out 2 front desk was checking people in on a Saturday night. I did like that they did enforce social distancing by having signs and stickers through out the hotel. Everyone had a mask on in the lobby. We also used the pool and like that there was a staff that opens the door so we don’t have to touch. It was also nice to have free breakfast and again there was social distancing stickers on the floor to keep distance. Breakfast sandwiches were delicious. I also enjoyed the Mountain View while we were using the pool. Beware that there’s no jacuzzi. And yes the water is cold since it’s not heated. Now, the things that can be improved. I forgot my toothbrush and asked if they had one. They directed me to their little store to purchase one. Why couldn’t she just say they are available for purchase? And I’ve been to lower end hotels that just give you that for free. I couldn’t believe they were trying to charge a toothbrush. Our toilet also got clogged and someone came within 30 mins to fix. Our bed looked clean but after we pull the covers we found stains. It’s already midnight and didn’t want to call and complain so just slept in it. I also noticed a bunch of tiny little hairs on my socks because I was walking around without shoes. This makes me question if the floors were ever vacuumed??

    Excellent!! Highly recommend!!

First time staying at this property. Last minute same day booking for weekend getaway. Loved the room, considering the price. Spacious, very clean, well laid out, excellent amenities. There is full size refrigerator, microwave, kitchen sink, even a two-burner stove! Good WiFi and updated TV. Well kept property. Impressed with the front desk staff, very organized friendly check in process. There is very good Covid policy with regards to cleaning rooms, clearly designated distancing policy and set up. Nice pool and patio that I need did not use, faces the golf course and scenic mountains view. Not luxury or boutique, but great value for “suites” category. Highly recommend!

Good and affordable option for Palm Springs area.

Stayed here for 1 night with my family while visiting the area. Hotel was nice, felt new, and was clean. Staff was courteous and helpful with our requests. We had very noisy neighbors below us that were throwing a party late at night, and we had to call the front desk twice to resolve it, but they handled the situation well. The room was comfortable, and the kitchen was pretty well stocked. It would have been nice if they had emptied the dishwasher, since everything was in there, and whomever ran it did not load it properly and water had collected in a lot of the bowls and glasses. The current grab & go breakfast left a lot to be desired. It was nice that there were options, but the quality and portion sizes were disappointing, and the only fresh fruit option was a banana, but they were out of those by the time I got downstairs at 9am. If staying there while COVID restrictions are in place, I would recommend bringing your own breakfast or going out. There is a grocery store less than 5 minutes up the street. Overall we were happy with our stay, and would probably stay here again.

The property is new and everything was clean and unblemished. We slept well. The location is quiet, but be aware it is in a residential area, not walking distance to anything. Not to a convenience store or any food outlet. Either arrive with provisions as you will have a kitchen or have a car. During COVID, not sure what the Uber situation is in Palm Springs, but nationwide, the wait times can be fairly long. A few things I think could be done better: * As I entered an empty lobby to check in, I approached the window. The agent didn't greet me, but immediately scolded me to go back and follow the foot path and read the sign I had missed. So as a longtime Platinum Elite member, I went like a scolded child back to read the sign that said to wear a mask (I already had one on) and I kind of stood there not really sure what message I had missed that made her seem so offended. Then she said I had permission to follow the foot steps through the empty lobby back to her window. Not sure what to make of that. Probably the most bizarre greeting to a hotel I ever had. * The view of the golf course over the pool was nice, but during the hot weekend, there were many families who didn't socially distance in the smallish pool at fairly early hours and woke me up. *First day we asked for late check out as Platinum Elite. Nope. So we booked another night...they were too full for a late checkout but not to full to sell me another night. Okay. *Second morning, request for late checkout was honored, but housekeeping knocked on the door with a Do Not Disturb sign, and when I said we weren't ready, they called a little while later on the phone. Then they said they'd check with Guest Services when I said we had a late checkout...they should check that stuff first before bothering people with the Do Not Disturb signs repeatedly. *Because I like to check my charges on the way out (unable to do it on TV screen), I waited at reception to get it on the way out. Some big long ordeal in front of me, so I was told no, I can't have that on my way out. It would be emailed to me. It has't been emailed either. I've never been told I won't be checked out before. I understand the concept of just leaving, but with housekeeping not having my request noted, I wanted to make sure I wasn't improperly charged for my extended checkout.

My daughter and I stayed at Staybridge Suites March 6, 2020. Our room was beautiful! King size bed. Large flat screen TV positioned so you could comfortably watch it in bed, kitchen with marble countertops and it was very, very clean. They serve a beautiful buffet breakfast every morning. Wonderful staff including Benedicte, Martha & Shaquill. My only complaint was a loud knocking sound through the course of the night. We stayed in Room 424. We shared a wall with the Mechanical Room which shared a wall with the elevator. The noise was coming from the Mechanical Room because I stood outside its door and listened to it the next morning. When we checked out I mentioned it to Benedicte Keller, Operations Manager and she said that she would immediately have her maintenance crew look into it. That is the response any guest would appreciate. I highly recommend this hotel.
