This hotel is not definitely 5 stars as we expected. It is waste of money to spend on this “one star” hotel. Overall, the food service is definitely slow! Every time we ordered food and end up waiting for every single day. The waiters were not professional when we requested our order in details. Very poor service. The food menu has limited and same menu every day. They don’t have reservation for dinner.. it is painful for us to wait for more than a hour to have dinner. Also we have only two restaurants. One restaurant is open for only dinner Pool need to clean and some tiles in pool are broke that hurt our toes. Not enough umbrella to cover and some of umbrella are broken. Also, there were some stains on bed sheets. Towels are old too and outdated. Drinks were not that tasty.. not impressed. We have a lot of bugs in the room. We got bug bites. Not comfortable bed it definitely not five stars!! The bed is so high that I struggle to get on the bed every single night!

The Good People here are amazing, and appear to genuinely want to help in any way. Luis Hernandez expertly heads the food and drink ops, and chef Noi provide excellent meals. I agree that it took some time to prepare them, but we also believe that's precisely why they were so delicious. Antonio heads up the bars and the wait staff including Eduardo our tocayo, and the amazing Efron at the pool, who did it all with great expertise. Enrique used his limousine and knowledge to get us what we needed, and Omar was a great help in trying to celebrate our anniversary on time. Wildlife, including peacocks, a parrot, Koi and coati were really fun! The man who takes care of them (except the coati) was great. The Bad Our room was hot. The AC would only get down to 76 degrees Fahrenheit, but they insisted it was functioning. The safe failed twice in 5 days, we only had enough coffee for the first day (until Enrique saved us on day 4). The refrigerator was only re-stocked once - on the morning of our departure (despite three requests to different people)! It's really a pity because we'd left a huge tip inside the fridge each day. We resorted to ordering extra beer and water from the bar each night. Although they were at 60% capacity, there weren't enough umbrellas poolside and only a very small bottle of tequila was in the room when we arrived. The Ugly Seaweed made the beach nearly impossible to use. Men using a tractor constantly picked it up, but that in itself destroyed the atmosphere. The dock and pier remained mostly closed after 2020's hurricanes. Like Blondie in the movie, Good overcame the Bad and the Ugly, and we consider this a place we will definitely revisit. Thanks to all our extended family!

We went with friends for three nights. The grounds and the hotel are beautiful. It’s a small hotel relatively and feels very intimate. The food is mostly very good. Good bartenders with good drinks. Friendly staff. On the downside, Dinners were painfully slow, we couldn’t find out what was available, how to take advantage of the facilities, and what we were told seem to be a little different according to who you asked. There seem to be some sort of activities that you could pay for but we never could find out anything about them. They were down to one restaurant alternating themes each evening. There was no entertainment of any kind. It’s the kind of place it would’ve benefited from a single guitarist or some thing. It was starting to get warm and there were not enough umbrellas around the pool and the pool guys Couldn’t get any more. So apparently management hasn’t gone to the trouble to give them what they need for their guests. The restaurant Didn’t have butter for at least two full days. How does a restaurant function without butter? Room service took forever. Those are all little things that were annoying at this price point. If you’re going to stay and sit at the pool or the beach and entertain yourself this is a great place. If on the other hand you want even a little action, it’s probably not the place you want to go to

Its a beautiful Boutique hotel but from the moment we arrived I slowly began to be disappointed. They have 3 restaurants but only 1 was open the entire time we were there and that information was not advertised when we booked. They said it was because of Covid. They say it is all inclusive but you could not order cocktails to your room. Only bottles of liquor or wine with payment. When we did order food to our room it took over 2 hours each time. The food in the one restaurant provided was a little like a TGIFridays...It was ok. The Spa was insanely priced. Double or triple what I would pay for a massage which I wouldn't mind if I felt like it was going to be worth it but the rest of the experience was telling me it wouldn't be. There was a leak in the ceiling in our room which they tried to fix twice and it never stopped leaking. The people were incredibly friendly and helpful but it seems like they were EXTREMELY short staffed which just hurt the experience. 2 of the times we actually did go to the restaurant...I left the restaurant and got drinks from the pool bar because they were so overwhelmed. It was odd because it did not seem crowded at all! The resort didn't even feel 50% full. It never felt cramped or overrun with people just REALLY SHORT staffed and that did hurt our experience. I was really bummed with just 1 restaurant open.

The resort is lovely and right size since it’s not just another mega resort with hundred of families running around like zoo. Also my room, Tulum have great views of sea but seaweed issue is pretty bad (not hotel’s fault) and it’s only 5ish minute walk from lobby to Tulum room if you don’t want to wait long for golf cart. However, service level is pretty bad for price we pay ($400 a night). It does feel like 1-2 star service. It’s pretty obvious that resort is short on staffs and it affect our experiences. I’m not sure what management is doing about staffs’ trainings but they seems not able to meet basic 5 star resort expectations. For example, they didn’t clean my room one day, and I have to pester them to come and clean my room. During meal times, they would forget to bring forks, or serve the plate before drinks. Staffs seems nice for most of time but quite clumsy and sometime clueless. Foods taste great, though. Kinda depart the resort with sense of disappointment because location is nice but service leave a lot to be desired. Will not return again for future Cancun trip.
