This place is a great stay. All the bad reviews are wrong and almost deterred me from staying here, such a shame. It’s nice. It’s clean. Restaurant food was good, staff was nice and attentive, shoutout to Ana! Only only con was a little too much light in the room from outside but that’s just I like a dark dark dark room.

Our room was on the lower level with a garden door directly into the pool and hot tub area which was perfect! The front desk staff, especially Pamela were so helpful, she felt like one of the family after a week stay. Recommend the lower floor as there is no elevator to get to second floor.

Pamela is just the best.She is always, always, always going above and beyond for me.And her smile continuously makes my day.Ben and the rest of the crew are always cheerful and accommodating as well.Along with the old school charm of the property and rooms, I will always give The Handlery a 10+.Thank you Handlery crew!

Not that I expected much, but the room is okay. However, it's quite different from what was advertised. The bathroom is outdated, the air conditioning is not cooling enough, the fridge is too vintage, and the walls are too thin. You can hear everything that's going on outside. The light switches are supposed to be motion sensor, but they are not working. The TV channels are the same as a typical motel, and the lights look outdated. All in all, it's not good. I would give more stars, but considering the amount I paid for the quality of the hotel and the room, I suggest looking for another hotel nearby.

Pamela was very helpful, answered all of our questions asince it was our first time in the city, and recommended good places to go around. Pamela gave all the tips for transportation. We Will definitely be back to enjoy the hotel and for more events. Thanks Pamela!
