The overall stay at the hotel was wonderful. I was there for a conference and the staff was great, the food was top notch and it was clean and nicely taken care of. The only downside is it isn't close to any shopping, additional amenities or restaurants. If you want to experience Tampa or the surrounding area, you have to have a vehicle or Uber.

We came to visit Tampa for our spring break trip this year and decided to stay at Grand Hyatt. After reading previous reviews they almost deterred me from staying at this property but I’m glad I decided to visit! It was a great experience the rooms were perfect, comfortable bed, every room even had complimentary slippers, robes, waters. The room also included refrigerator and coffee maker. The decor was minimal but just enough. We arrived pretty late almost close to 1am so I feel like check in was a little rushed, but on our last night I spoke with a very nice young woman and was able to upgrade my room and get late check out. That was another sweet thing our flight left super late, so we decided to go to the beach, the front desk let us use the fitness ladies locker room that was equipped with showers to be get changed and shower before our flight and we were able to use other amenities as well. In other reviews they complained of having hot water however that was not an issue for me. Overall, it was a great stay and I will definitely recommend and visit again!

The rooms were big and clean. The bathroom was also roomy. The staff was nice. The food was really good especially the upscale restaurant on site. They had bars and food at both pools which was very convenient. Only issue was the breakfast room service came in a bag and was cold. Overall would definitely go back

My son and I travelled for a sporting event and stayed for 3 nights. Wish it was a longer stay as it was so comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast buffet was well priced and just fabulous. Staff were friendly. House champagne is to die for.

Everyone, including the maids, were just super; made it feel like home! From the young man who helped us with our luggage, to the man at the desk, to the maids who used their phone to translate our questions, they all make it home!
