Excellent suite we could choose to dine in or go out for meals. When dining out, Harry's provided great options in a casual environment or one of the many nearby restaurants offered great variety within walking distance. The pools were well maintained and a welcome relief from the heat when needed. The beach is adjacent and offers a spectacular view, especially at sunset. Hammocks are scattered throughout the grounds and swing chairs around the fire pit at Harry's are a nice added touch. Rum Runners boasts a fire pit with a view of the beach and Gulf-easy to find somewhere comfortable for extroverts and introverts alike! Live music on occasion with relaxing rhythms. If you appreciate long walks on the beach as well as a more urban feel when desired, this place is great-you would never know there is a bustling economy beyond the perimeter, unless you choose to visit, which I recommend you do. We enjoyed the age range in guests, from young families to seniors and everyone in between-made for a nice mix and conversations if desired, but still able to sit and read/relax if you want. We happened upon a local seafood and music fest-easy to immerse yourself in the local culture and businesses. We will definitely be back!

Totally avoid this over priced hotel at all cost. We booked at Destination Travel Agency in Woodstock Ontario a trip never told of extra charges on resort fee's and car fee's 6 different taxes on car rental. A starting point was when we had landed to our hotel the Delta Hotel which was a wonderful place with excellent FOOD cooked and positioned to perfecting with excellent English speaking staff. Morning was 3 am to go down stairs on a freezing cold morning 20 below. At 4 am out Shuttle to AIR PORT ARRIVED, the Bus was freezing cold ice on window we were freezing all the way. We asked the driver specifically to drop us off at terminal we needed he gave us wrong terminal we had to walk 1/4 mile with luggage far to other side of terminal was a long walk pulling our luggage.Only to find out NO SEATS WERE AVAILABLE AT FRONT OF PLANE ONLY AT FAR BACK SEATS were available. Then the line ups were long half hour wait then walking back to customs only to be walking on bare feet to who knows what on carpeted dirty floors, checking our carry on's. Then to long lines to get into a fully loaded small area to sit. My partner was cramped sitting tightly in his seat with little leg room for a tall man. Only to hear half a hour in we will be delayed then half a hour to a hour goes buy to say the flute will be delayed again because someone had to be cleared at custom's then again to be told our plane needed to be belated again because they had to remove bags off the, plane because these people did not clear customs. Then 2 hours sitting in crapped seats to be told they had to clear ice off the wings before we left Toronto. It is now 8am we are suppost to be in St.Pete's by now we never got to our hotel buy 1am . Then we arrive to find a cost added to our trip of Resort fee's $25.00 a day not included in the pkg. Never disclosed from travel agency. We go to our room and collapse from the stress. We fall fast asleep and wake up next morning to open curtains to dirty smearing windows we could not see out of..Then myself being a cleaning lady along with many other skilled jobs l checked my floors they were filthy black both our feet and wash cloth was BLACK. I immediately started wiping floors and could not get it clean after washing it 5 to 10 times l called front desk and maintenance brought bleach and still the floors were pulling up dirt. I moved the furniture and hair and pills were found and dust built up l took photo's of the service staff scrubbing the floors. It was huge 3 hours of me supervising this clean and making sure it was done right. Still every day our feet we had to wash walking on this floor blackened feet at night. Wash clothes were black. The manager KEVIN AT FRONT DESK WAS very helpful the third day comping us at the best dinner they had at the Compass Grill. We went that night the food was not even hot Luke warm at best l had DUCK it was like rubber you could not even pull the skin off felt like a savage trying to cut it was hard with dull knives. Veg were over cooked and not warm at all. My mate and l had only thing eatable was his over cooked mashed potatoes melting into the plate from salmon small portion sitting on top and cold carrots. We could not eat my food was so bad so we order a key lime pie small piece only good thing as how could they screw up desert already cold. Leaving we tipped and felt very disappointed. I reported it again to be comped three meals that all turned out waiting 30 min to get over salty steak and fish and returned to get more of the same salty and over cooked food and luke warm. Kevin admitted they were trying to get better staff to correct the restraints food problem. Our last meal at the COMPASS GRILL we were met by a large man who refuse to be nice to us argumentative several times when Kevin specifically said this meal will be comp and reservations were booked as he would handle this. The waiter and manager said he never heard of this reservation and we insisted him to confirm this before we order. He argued with us and that really made it embarrassing with people looking at us hearing my mate having to insist he confirm this. Only two days left Kevin offered us a lounge on the beach which was hardly enough for the trouble we had to endure but it was enjoyed and to find out they even charge $60. to have a lounge on the beach horrible. Last day we left at 6 am to return the car and be early for our 10am flite only to fight Car Rentals trying to Bill my credit card more money catching this and straightening it out then them charging for full tank a gas when it was 3/4 tank left of gas then 6 different taxes put on top, bring total to over what gas price was set at. Unbelievable $130.00 for taxes and tank of ? Gas. one tax you can see but 6 different taxes. Then we get back on the plane again no seats up front for us but cramped beside a large man who needed a seat and half. Holding ourselves tightly as the landings was rough and everyone cheering and clapping as we all felt the same way. Delta Hotel was so nice they felt so bad for us as even we were not told we needed to renew our ticket and my mate walked all the way to get our car in windy 30 below weather to find the parking ticket would not work walking all the way back to get another one. We had another 3 hour drive home and we were hungry and l spoke to manager and he offered us a completely lunch on Delta Hotel to make up for there screw up so we accepted it with a wonderful meal finally it was 5 star..excellent food and ??hot cooked like you expect food to be cook not SALTY..OR OVER COOKED. WONDERFUL DELTA HOTEL AND CLEAN FLOORS GREAT SERVICE AND WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.THANK YOU for bring us back to CANADIAN STANDARDS EXCELLENT WE DID NOT GET IN ST.PETE'S FLORIDA AT SIRATA BEACH RESORT.

Had to jump on here to call out our amazing service at the beach. I have a two-year-old and a five month old and they were extremely urgent and helpful in setting up a cabana for us so I could put my baby down for a nap. Their genuine interest in our comfort and happiness was top notch and I cannot recommend their services enough! We plan to go back and work with them again very soon! Really appreciate you guys

    Will never stay here again

We stayed one cold night in January and they had a wedding going on which I feel they should have mentioned when we made the reservation. They do not have enough heaters outside or in the restaurants. Rum Runners has a large awning-type door that could not be closed because it is broken. So we were freezing during dinner. And the live music at the restaurant was so loud we heard it clearly in our room until 10:00 - VERY annoying. Upon check-in they don't tell you that the interactive TV has menus on it for all their restaurants, that sure would have been helpful to know. The TV is a nice perk ONCE YOU FIGURE OUT how to use it. And the one day we were there, it had no activities listed at all. It was like that day didn't even exist. We had a beach front room and you can tell this was a very old hotel that has been painted over and remodeled. The sliding glass door was very loud, I felt bad for the people below us. The wifi may have been good in other rooms, but it was TERRIBLE in our room (I will attach pics). Our android phones either would not connect to it, or wouldn't see it at all, or kept dropping off because the quality was so bad. If you went outside, it was better, but we could not use it in the room. This is NOT acceptable. When you walk into the room, BAM! there's the sink. If you have anything large to bring in, it's very awkward. The sink lighting sucks for women, I could not tell what my makeup looked like. There is no privacy when using the sink as it's not part of the bathroom. And there's hardly any counter space at all to put your toiletries. La Quinta has much better bathrooms. The water in the shower was too strong and you could not reduce the pressure. The toilet is small, low, and has that awful seat with the space in it. Uncomfortable. Final complaint was how far away we had to park from our room. This place is ridiculously overpriced and overhyped.

We had a great 3 day weekend at Sirata with friends. Each morning we had a great breakfast at Rumrunners. Ask for Kathy, she was the bomb and remembered what we loved from the day before. The pina colada at Harry's was the best ever. We will be back.
