30th Anniversary

We went for our 30th anniversary to Victoria and we reserved a Run of House, but as they knew it was a special date they upgraded us to a room with a beautiful view to the inner Harbour, and in addition they gave us a special present, great detail from the Manager, those are the special things that make a remarkable service. All the personnel is fantastic starting with bell boys, front desk, room cleaners, waiters, and so on, thanks a lot We had a wonderful anniversary, by the way they gave us a great recommendation for dinner. Best of the best.

This was a bucket list trip. My parents brought me back a key chain from the Empress when they stayed here in the 70’s. I have always wanted to stay there and have their High Tea. It was all worth the wait. Wonderful reception, friendly staff, and nice accommodations, made for a most pleasant experience. High Tea was elegant, delicious and lots of fun. Location is perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

Stayed 4 nights for the conference held in the hotel and conference center. Great location, room was very clean and well equipped. However it's quiet a walk from the lobby to my room, and to the swimming pool also. This did not help with my bad knee unfortunately or whoever have difficulty walking. I paid extra for an ocean view room, but rather disappointed with the amount of ocean I could see from my room, not worth this upgrade for sure.

The Fairmont Empress is like stepping back in time. It is one of the most beautiful hotels and the scenery out the windows is stunning. The beds are so comfortable and the room was so quiet and calm. The staff were amazing and so helpful. What a pleasure to stay at this hotel for business.

The hotel is pure pampering!!! It is spotlessly clean. The beds are incredible. We slept like babies. The spa was delightful, but we wished that we would have gone at least 2 hours earlier than our time. We found that one hour before our appointment was too short as we would have liked to enjoy the steam room, sauna, mineral pool and pools for longer.
