Climate
Visitors to the Windsor area will want to pack for the season. Hot, humid summers call for shorts and swimwear, with temperatures regularly rising into the high 20s C and even the 30s C. Thunderstorms are also common here during the warmer months, so don't forget your umbrella.
The warm weather generally continues well into the fall, with the city taking the title of warmest weather in Canada during the months of September, October and November.
In contrast, winters here are cool, often with temperatures a few degrees below zero (and sometimes as cool as -10 C). While Windsor typically receives several large snowfalls, the winter months are also characterized by periods of milder weather that break up the cold spells. Springtime in Windsor is considerably warmer, continuing the cycle of sunny, humid days.
