Amazing beach bad service

I read all the reviews about this property before I booked. I learned about the amazing beach and this is what made me decide to book even though I also learned about the bad service in this hotel, I'm not picky at all and all that I need is a good weather and a nice beach. I'm a handicapped person that I walk with a walker so I sent an email to the email address on the Royalton website asking just for a ground-floor room then they directed my email to Donna the front desk manager and some other names. Donna responded that they noted that in my file. When I arrived there was no ground-floor room available and they said that they will give me one after 2 days, which I understand. The big problem was that the hotel has 2 tiny elevators and if I use one with my walker only 2 other persons can share the elevator with me! So every time I go up or down I have to wait 3 or 4 turns to get an empty one. Till then I wouldn't write a bad review because I understand that it is only a problem for a handicapped person that doesn't have a ground-floor room. Now comes the main problem which applies to everyone. besides the steak house restaurant, there is a narrow corridor to the washroom, in this narrow corridor they put a permanent 2 cleaning carts and if you want to use the washroom you have to squeeze yourself beside the cleaning carts imagine me with a walker! I asked many of the hotel employees at least 3 times to remove the carts since it is against safety measures to put them there in the first place! The last time I went to this washroom I fell down because I have to leave my walker and lean on the walls. I sent an email to Donna and the other names with the incident and of course, I received the apologies that I always receive from her. The second day, nothing happened and the carts are still in the same place so I sent another email and I received the usual apologies. With all that happened to me, I was waiting to see actions, as well as compensation for all their mistakes especially ignoring my complains of the carts, which could've led to a bad injury! In my opinion, the big problem in this hotel is that they provide lip service without taking any action, and you can see that from the Royalton response to people's bad reviews with the typical sentences of bieng sorry and they'll make it up for you next time you go! bet you it is gonna be the same for my review.

Great hotel, great service. Polite staff...totally wonderful!!! Food is good as well. I would highly recommend this hotel. I found the staff to be presentable, and very polite. Any questions I had were answered politely and professionally.
