Pineapple Beach Club is the island’s most laid-back all-inclusive resort situated on 30 relaxing beachfront acres, with amazing ocean views and an authentic Caribbean vibe. Guest accommodations are one, two and three story buildings, each reflecting easygoing Caribbean architecture and lifestyle.
Let me start by listing the pros of the hotel:
The staff are WONDERFUL and really make the hotel as great as it is. They all go out their way for you and are so friendly! HUGE shout-out to Keith from watersports, Kevin, Daniel at the bar, Ann Marie, Vincent, Judith, Cheryenne and Randi
The hotel has fantastic activities: watersports, day trips which are only for the hotel guests (so you don’t mingle with anyone outside the ‘bubble’), great evening entertainment, the tortoise sanctuary which was so cute, the coffee shop providing complimentary hot and iced coffee (and non dairy milk options).
The cons of the hotel: the food and timing of service generally. The food options are limited and you have to book the restaurants in advance or you’ll lumbered with the buffet which isn’t great. There’s an outdoor snack bar by the pool but can take up to 45 mins for a burger. They are understaffed for sure and I really hope they can fix this quickly. Service can be slow eg if you call reception for something and they send someone up it can take literally hours. Again, it’s down to timing and staff availability.
If the hotel improved the food options, and the punctuality of service they will really improve their ratings!

We were sold a luxury break in an exclusive, Virgin T4 of 5 Resort. What we got was a Spanish style stone floor, basic room with poor finish and maintenance.
Just arrived here and we are very disappointed. 1st impressions count, right?
The room, an Ocean View’ is about as basic as they come and isn’t in the best of repair. The quality of the finish is not where we would expect, with a 2cm gap under the room door (rolled a towel up to cover the gap, already been greeted by the local wildlife) Everything appears to function but for the 1000’s we spent we are not happy.
I don’t expect a safe with no lock, a toilet which rocks on the floor, a rusty clothes rail, and a stained ironing board (even if I won’t use it)
We have immediately raise the ‘over-sell’ at reception, showing the pictures on Virgin Holiday’s website but our ‘rep’ isn’t in so we will have to speak with her in the morning (woke up at 2am - standard for UK travel / time zone and writing this) I understand that this a pandemic but for me, this basic stuff.
