Another great vacation, and celebrating our anniversary!

What another beautiful vacation at the Manchebo! This trip was to celebrate our 35th anniversary. What a nice present to ourselves. As we arrived and were greeted by so many of the staff that welcomed us back. What a wonderful personal touch. When arriving to our room, there was chilled champagne , two glasses and a card. What a great start. Manchebo is such a peaceful serene space. Because it is small, even when at capacity, it never feels crowded. The staff is so incredibly accommodating. From the security at the front, Andrew, and there were two others, that their names have escaped me. The desk staff, especially Klark, as we were joking with him, because it seemed like he was working nonstop during our entire stay. The staff at Ikes ( Jean and Fanny and many others), where we had a yummy breakfast every morning. The beach at the Manchebo is absolutely beautiful. Unlike the larger resorts you do not feel like you are in a palapa city. You really can appreciate the tranquility and beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed drinks and lunch on the beach, served by Alejandra, Stephen and Josuel. This was my 6th trip to Aruba and my 4th at The Manchebo. I cannot wait to schedule the 7th in the future!

Went for a surprise birthday trip plus R&R. Everyone including the ladies at the front desk were warm & friendly. They have an amazing, not very crowded beach at the resort which made it very relaxing and safe. The resort gave a surprise bday token which was really sweet. The not so greats: Could have been a 5 but the below points knocked off the rating from excellent. I would consider coming back if improvements were made. -Room. Ground floor room was a huge miss. Was looking forward to spending time outdoors on the balcony. I understand the request was made days in advance. The missed ground floor room didnt justify the huge cost. this was a miss. Evenings were confined mostly indoors, stuffed with AC air, curtains drawn, and no chance to get fresh air from the sea. More so, the room/decor & shower (Seriously get rid of the shower curtain & give the shower a makeover) was giving motel-ish vibes. -Food: the 3 restaurants were OK. pricy, not a lot of flavorful notes. Took very long to get served on the first dinner night, >45 mins. In room meal was not very memorable.

Great location, huge beach area, with many palapa. Wonderful beach and bar service! Very clean and quaint. Rooms are great and walkout directly to the beach. The food was great with a large selection of choices.

Very nice, quiet and secluded resort with the most friendly staff, especially Alejandra, Andrew and Etienne. They were also very helpful booking our tour and restaurant reservations. Rooms were cleaned better than we hoped for. Yoga class was enjoyable and glad we had a couples massage booked afterwards.

This was an amazing experience - friendly staff, beautiful accommodations, delicious food (Pega Pega fish fritters!), and a quiet and serene beach. Enjoyed a massage at the spa on a rainy day. Highly recommend Manchebo!
