I’ve read some of the reviews and honestly don’t know where they are coming from ( probably nothing better to do but complain). We personally had the best holiday at Savanna beach . The location is perfect for anyone wanting to eat out ,with excellent restaurants only a few minutes walk away although we tended to stay in the hotel as the food was excellent quality especially on a la carte evenings in Rachel’s & chop stix Asian restaurant, all other meals were buffet style but again there was plenty of choice & very good. The staff were very cheerful & nothing was too much trouble for them. Omari was very helpful and always found us the perfect spot on the beach where he placed our sunbeds( ask him for anything & he will get it for you ),he was such a character , loved him ?? . Drifters bar and restaurant, right next to the beach was beautiful & Richard,Roger & the girls were brilliant hosts, The most relaxing holiday I’ve ever had. Perfect place to wind down after a cruise. Will definitely go back.
Worst customer service ever experienced at reception

Customer Service Check in started by the lady barely greeting us, she sent us straight to our room as a big bus of people coming from the cruise arrived, so we were shipped off with no information, although Randy the porter was lovely and helpful. We asked the next day to upgrade to all inclusive and were quoted a price of which we paid and received our bands. However, we were called in the evening and told we were given the wrong price it was in fact double what we had paid. They refused to understand from our point of view and stated they did not see it as a mistake but an error and if we did not pay the remaining amount they would take the bands from us and void our transaction. We told them to do this as the way they spoke to us was terrible. When asking to speak to the manager they lied telling us he was off the island when in fact we saw him the next day, he was more reasonable but outcome remained. Hotel - Cockroaches behind the toaster (food is in an enclosed space) - Cleaners don’t clean room until gone 4 and when door is locked to stop coming in they bypass this and come in anyway - A lot of the staff are rude - General manager stated the staffs customer service was a ‘working progress’ - Whilst not a major issue the hotel is majorly aimed towards the older generation, so for any younger couples it’s not really suited. It does not state this anywhere or make it clear this is the case prior to booking. Like us, we spoke to many couples who felt the same and wouldn’t return to this hotel.
