Tea in the Rundle Bar - so special! The setting couldn’t be any more spectacular. The teas, scones, finger sandwiches & assortment of sweets were stunning & delicious. The whole experience, including the warm greeting & service provided by Fiona & Kyle, will be a treasured memory for me, my sister & mom. Thank you!

The title of my review only needs one word as it says it all. This hotel draws you in on the drive through town as it starts to peak through the trees and from the minute you arrive and the team at the door take care of everything until you sadly leave to go to the airport you are pampered and spoiled and reminded that great service can still be had even as we work through this never-ending pandemic.
Room - great size with air conditioning that kept us cool during a heat wave. Bathroom was a little awkward but functional and fine as we aren't living there just staying for a few days. Housekeeping and turn-down service was efficient.
Activities - if you can book the wilderness walk with Isabelle. She is fantastic and I learned so much about wildlife and Banff. She is an asset to the hotel and Fairmont Brand and I wish we had time to do other excursions with her.
Hotel History Tour - really interesting - learned a lot and also saw parts of the hotel we might not have otherwise seen.
Spa - one of the best I have ever been to, and I am a spa lover who regularly goes at home and on vacations. I did a 90-minute deep tissue massage and Johanna was incredible. I would recommend her to anyone. She helped with my problem areas and was a lovely person to chat with. I used all the facilities at the spa - from sauna to pools to hot tubs and actually fell asleep in one of the relaxation areas on one of the chairs because I was so relaxed.
Golf - my husband golfed twice and thought the course was great. Challenging and unique and got to see some bears which was a bonus. I did the golf driving range and it was one of the nicest I have been to. Fantastic service at the course and easy shuttle back and forth to the hotel.
Meals - we did breakfast and snacks at Stock Food and Wine. The sandwiches were delicious, pastries were incredible and the bacon and cheese scone I ate each morning I am still thinking about and wish I could have the recipe (though I doubt it would ever taste as good).
Dinner - we ate both nights at the Rundle Bar patio. We wanted something casual and to be outside to enjoy the view and the weather. Great menu which added to the incredible scenery surrounding the patio.
We can't wait to return and although we have stayed at many hotels we loved during our travels we always remind ourselves that there are so many other places in the world we want to go to and often don't go back to the same place. But we will be making an exception to our rule for this hotel and can't wait to return.
