Go somewhere else!

If you are planning to come to Fairmont Hot Springs I would tell you to change your plans. This establishment charges 4 star prices for 1 star service. The hotel is dirty, it doesn’t look like the rugs have been cleaned in years. The rooms are dated, I’ve stayed in nicer Travel Lodges. And don’t plan on having your room cleaned during your visit, the maids aren’t allowed in the rooms due to COVID restrictions. The beds are comfortable however, which is good because sleeping is about the only thing they don’t charge you extra for. People come here for mainly for the hot springs and the pool is nice. But if you or your kids want to use the water slide so prominently displayed on the web site it’s extra. Want to play frisbee golf or use the miniature golf course, same deal. The restaurants do supply tasty food, if you’re willing to wait for 50 minutes for Bacon and Eggs. The main dining room has the ambiance of a Denny’s, a very limited menu and slow service. 4 entrees, 2 of which are pasta dishes and a price tag that is ridiculous. If you stay here drive to Anaconda and eat there, only 10 minutes away and worth it for your taste buds and wallet. The only reason I didn’t give a 1 star rating is because of the pools, spend all your time there.

Pleasantly surprised - our family really enjoyed our stay

Jon_Slaughter_78 (Bexley, Ohio) on Jun 29, 2021

After reading some other reviews I was apprehensive, but our stay ended up being wonderful. We stopped here with our family (two elementary school daughters) as a halfway point between Yellowstone and Glacier. The pools were clean and the warmth of the outdoor pools was perfect as the evening temperature started to drop. My kids loved it and enjoyed the indoor pool as well the next am. We ate in the cafe for dinner and did takeout there for breakfast the next am. Both meals were great. I enjoyed my taco salad with a homemade shell for dinner. We will definitely stop again should we return to the area. A great stay.
