I thought the resort was great! It wasn’t too big which I really liked and it was easy to navigate through. Our rooms were always very clean thanks to the wonderful cleaning staff and they always stocked us up with more water every morning.
One issue we did have with the room was my room and another friends room would not lock one night - so you were able to enter the room without a key. We didn’t bother asking about it because it was our last night and our valuables were in the safe. However, one night before dinner we spilt something on the sheets and when we asked the front desk staff if we could have the sheets changed before bed, they got right on it and they were changed by the time we went to bed - so I know that if we did ask about the door not locking, it would have been solved asap.
The a la cart’s we’re Cuban, Italian, and Indian. We only made it to the Cuban and Indian, but they were excellent!
The buffet was okay - just due to the selection. I don’t mind the buffet having the same food each day, however, I’d love to have more selection (there was lots of rice, chicken, beef, oysters, fruit, bread, veggies, etc, however, not much selection for salad and no pasta or pizza which I’ve seen at other resorts). The snack bar had a choice of a burger, ham and cheese sandwich, tuna sandwich, fries, and a few more which we all thoroughly enjoyed!
The staff were all amazing - specifically Helen and Talia! They were part of the event staff and took part in teaching bachata, as well as the Canada day celebrations. They were both the sweetest and always made it a point to come and say hi to us and chat with us, and they also taught a few of our group some bachata which was so great! We loved getting to know them! All of the bartenders, waiters/waitresses, front desk staff, groundskeepers, event staff, and cleaning staff were all very sweet and hard workers. We all really appreciated them!
Overall, I would love to go back to this resort as I was very happy with it. Thank you to everyone for making it so enjoyable!
First Time to Cuba

This was my first time at MGM and Cuba in general, I was quite hesitant and nervous at first, but that quickly changed. Upon arrival my entire friend group was welcomed warmly by all staff at the hotel, the rooms were clean and ready for use, which made checkin in a breeze. We were quickly able to orient ourselves around the resort - specifically pin-pointing the best spots on the beach and by the pool.
You can tell that all staff wanted to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. This was particularly true with the entertainment team. Specifically Helen. She help facilitate activities - on the first night of our stay

First time in the hotel. First impression very good. Beach goregoes. Wy like to walk on the beach special thanks for guys in beach bar to Oscar. Victor. There welcome as with smile every morning and serve cold drink . Pool and snacks bar ok. Room nice and clean. FOOD OK. . Buffet restaurant serving every day the same food t wy expect that notfirst time in Cuba one things what but wy expect don't like was a lot flyes in buffet restaurant . Even door was closed all he time. Servers very nice and polite. Every day coffee in lobby was very good. Wy want to thanks all the servers and housekeeping lady for the work they do to make us happy. I will for sure come back to this resort.

I stayed at the Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo begin of June 2022. Loved everything and especially the staff at the beach bar.

We had a blast doing Zumba and lendys was the sweetest helpful staff. Beautiful beach and great horseback riding. Rooms are clean and beautiful ?? we have the best time at the wonderful spa in the market.all staff were wonderful and the drinks at the beach delicious
